But first, a little background: a few months ago we started a search for someone that would be our brand ambassador and post all the awesome things that go on across all 8 of our resort locations. Days would be spent acting as our on-location social influencer, gathering content by experiencing all of the comfort, relaxation, cuisine, adventure, and luxury they have to offer. So as you can imagine, we got A LOT of applications.

We interviewed countless amazing people for this position (big shout out to those who applied, we loved getting to know you!) but in the end we loved Andrea’s energy and her deep passion for travel. She just radiated happiness and we all felt that she was the perfect fit for us.
A corporate professional turned travel enthusiast, Martens most recently spent the last three and a half years traveling throughout the Pacific Islands, New Zealand, Africa, and Asia. During her professional career, she was consistently praised for her natural ability to make real connections with coworkers and clients, and throughout her travels she has grown her passion for creating personal camaraderie by immersing herself in each new destination she visits.
Her journey will begin at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta, beginning December 2018. There she will become completely immersed, learning the ins and outs of each resort from operations and guest experience to sustainability and philanthropy. Most importantly, she’ll begin experiencing all that Vidanta has to offer! The best part? You’ll get to see what she’s up to! Martens will use her experiences to create social media and blog posts to keep us all in the loop of her big adventures.
